There are many great guitarist out there but I was most influenced with my style of play by "SlowHand" 

(Eric Clapton). Eric's acoustic work is some of the best on the planet as far as I'm concerned.

 With Clapton’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist on March 6, 2000, he became the first musician to have been inducted an unprecedented three times. He was first honored as a member of in 1992, then with in 1993, and finally as a solo artist in 2000. While his stints with the groups were relatively brief - he stayed with the Yardbirds only a year and a half, and Cream lasted barely two years.

My beloved Wife, and my Sister,  gave me tickets to attend his concert at the Gwinnett Arena in 2006 (part of his World tour) and was awe struck by pure raw talent.

Live performances are always better than listing to a CD on the stereo.   Nothing like being there !!!!!!!!!!

                               the low E string on bottom.                 He is rated as one of the top 100

                               Upside and backwards form normal.  guitarist and is only 29 years old.

                                He has is own band too.                      He is a master of the slide method, has 

                                                                                             his own band and plays with the

                                                                                              his uncle, drummer Butch Trucks

                                                                                             in the Allman Brothers Band since 1999. 

                                                                                             He also performs with his wife, singer-guitarist

                                                                                             Susan Tedeschi, as well.

                                                        And then there was the call from Eric Clapton.

Seeing and hearing all three of these guys on stage at the same time was phenomenal
